How to Borrow
In this section, you can learn how borrowing works.
TLDR: borrow $HEX1 stablecoin by depositing hex in the vault that gets staked and generates tshares.
Bootstrap Sacrifice Hex1 Share table explained
This table shows important information about the HEX stake that was performed by the escrow contract. Let's explain each field separately.
Columns
StakeId
The stakeId that matches the collateral deposit.
Start/End/Current Date
Start, End and Current dates of staked HEX.
Collateral
Total HEX staked (principal).
Effective
Total HEX staked (principal) + yield.
Borrowed Amt
Total HEX1 tokens borrowed. This matches the USD value of the total HEX stake.
Initial/Current HEX price
The price of HEX/DAI when the stake was created and the current price of HEX. This allows the user to know the health ratio.
Health Ratio
When this ratio is > 100% any user who sacrificed can perform a "Re-Borrow".
Buttons
Re-Borrow
This allows the escrow contract to claim more $HEX1 tokens without depositing additional collateral and also distributes the $HEX1 tokens to all sacrifice participants.
Re-Deposit
This allows the escrow contract to burn $HEX1 tokens, withdraw the staked HEX principal + yield, and re-deposit into Hex One Borrow. It also distributes the newly minted $HEX1 tokens to all sacrifice participants.
Only sacrifice using our official dApp. If you send tokens directly into the contract you may not be eligible to claim your $HEX1 and $HEXIT tokens.
